How terracotta fashion jewellery is made?

Step 1: Selection of clay which should be smooth, no grit.  

Step 2: Hand-shaping — No moulds for premium sets. Artisan rolls, presses, carves motifs.  

Step 3: Sun + Fire — 3 days sun dry. Then 8 hours in kiln at 800°C. That’s why it won’t dissolve in rain.  

Step 4: Painting — Acrylic colours, sometimes with varnish coat. Water-resistant, not waterproof.  

Result: 7-day making. 0% machine. 100% Bengal.
